moto SWEDISH CHAMPIONSHIPS – UDDEVALLA BMK 13 May, 2022 Finally. The season has taken off again and the years of just staying at home, not racing, or hanging out with your friends are long gone! We are super pumped about this and we headed to Uddevalla to cheer on the Wicked riders in one of the first races of the Swedish championships 2022. Emils Karklins on the fly. Uddevalla is one of Sweden’s largest tracks and many MXGPs have been held here. It’s a very popular track, especially amongst the faster riders due to its design. It’s hard-packed with a lot of big jumps and steep hills and really great for spectators to get a good view over the track during races. Anton Nordström, MX1 Anton Bengtsson, MX1 Emils Kärklins, MX1 The riders in MX1 that day were Anton Nordstöm, Anton Bengtsson, Emils Kärlins, Daniel Lundberg and Alfred Larsson. Gustav Öfverberg and Teo Jönsson were riding in MX2. In Mx Womens we had Hilda Sjöberg, Nelly Fransson, Emilia Andersson and Julia Svanfeldt. A real super group of talented Fam riders! The “wicked man” himself, Anton Nordström was finally back after a nasty head injury last year and we were very stoked to see him back in action and racing again. He managed to finish a 6th position which was really impressive, especially after the involuntarily time off to recover. Anton Bengtsson had a really great day and is moving up fast in the ranking. Daniel Lundberg, MX1 Gustaf Öfverberg, MX2 Alfred Larsson, MX1 Alfred Larsson had a great race until he, unfortunately, had a bad crash where he painfully broke his tailbone. We wish him a speedy and full recovery and hope to see him back at the races soon 🚑 Daniel Lundberg really had the look that day, matching his Kawasaki green. Teo Jönsson Gustav Öfverberg Nelly Fransson, MX Womens Hilda Sjöberg, MX Womens Emilia Andersson, MX Womens We have several female riders this season who are showing such great potential. Nelly is only 13 years old and got 7th position this race. Hilda had her best result in her carrier so far and finished 3rd. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for these talented girls. Julia Svanfeldt looking very focused. It’s Nelly Fransson’s first Champion Series and we are so impressed by this young girl, only 13, and already amongst the top female riders in Sweden.
