MXGP LOMMEL 2017

21 August, 2017

One of the greatest highlights of the year is the MXGP that takes place in Lommel, Belgium every summer. For those of you that havnt been to the track we can tell you its one of the toughest tracks in Europe. Heavy sand and deep ruts are the reason why many of the top riders in Europe dig deep and spend their pre season here. This is where Tony Cairoli spent a lot of his time to become one of the best racers in the world.
The day started out with good weather and a nice track. But around the time of the qualifying races the sky opened up and the rain poured down to change the nice track into one of the worse mud races ever. It was a tough fight between Cairoli and Herrings but this day Herrings came of as the winner.
